The Andean Road Countries for Science and Technology (ARCST) is an international scientific network dedicated to fostering intercultural dialogue and collaborative research. Guided by the Science Culture Construction framework, we promote the integration of diverse knowledge systems to advance scientific literacy, innovation, and sustainable development. As an active participant in the UNESCO Media and Information Literacy (MIL) Alliance, we contribute to global efforts to build resilient, informed societies. Our work aligns with the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (2024-2033), championing science as a common good for humanity and harnessing its power to address pressing global challenges . We convene universities, research centers, and science academies to address regional challenges through cross-border partnerships and evidence-based policy, building bridges between civilizations through South-South and triangular cooperation.
